Guam Visitors Bureau Vice President Bobby Alvarez says the number of tourists who have canceled their visits to Guam over concerns about the novel coronavirus is now over 14,000.
Alvarez told K-57’s Andrea Pellacani Wednesday afternoon that number covers the period between February and April of this year and includes the cancellation of flight bookings, hotel reservations and optional tours as of February 12th.
The total number of cancellations is 14,069.

There is a visitor industry briefing on coronavirus on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Lotte Hotel Crystal Ballroom. There will be a panel of experts to also include DPHSS.
